PERAC Memo #26/2016 requests that retirement boards submit the annual Appropriation Data Questionnaire—needed to calculate FY18 required appropriations under G.L. c.32, §22D, §22(6A)(b), or §22F—by October 31, 2016, preferably via PERAC's website. Boards must complete and return this questionnaire, and should also confirm their funding schedule has been submitted to PERAC for approval within the past two years, contacting PERAC if an update is needed.

M E M O R A N D U M TO: All Retirement Boards FROM: Joseph E. Connarton, Executive Director RE: Appropriation Data Due October 31, 2016
DATE: October 6, 2016
At this time, we are requesting information necessary for us to furnish you with the amounts to be appropriated by all governmental units for FY18, in accordance with your funding schedule, under the provisions of G.L. c.32, §22D, §22(6A)(b) or §22F. Please fill out the attached questionnaire with the appropriate information in the spaces provided and return it to us as soon as possible, but no later than October 31, 2016.
You have the option of completing this questionnaire via PERAC’s Web Site at PERAC/PERAC Units/Actuarial Unit/Worksheets and Forms/2016 Appropriation Data Questionnaire and follow the instructions. We encourage you to input your data through the web page.
Please note that retirement boards must submit a new funding schedule for PERAC’s approval at least once every two years. If your board has not submitted a funding schedule within the past two years, please contact us to discuss an updated schedule.
