M E M O R A N D U M TO: All Retirement Boards and Interested Parties FROM: Joseph E. Connarton, Executive Director RE: Correction of Address for the New Bedford Public Library Public Hearing and Informal Public Discussion on Proposed Regulation Amendments DATE: April 18, 2002 • The notice of the Public Hearing at the New Bedford Free Public Library (see PERAC Memo #18/2002) on Thursday April 25, 2002 at 1:00 PM included the incorrect address for the library. The correct address is: 613 Pleasant St., New Bedford, MA; phone (508) 991-6275.
Directions to the New Bedford Free Public Library are:
From the intersections of I-93, Rte. 3, US 1 and I-95 - take Route 1 South to Route 140 South to I-195 East, exit 2E; follow I-195 East, take the Downtown ramp, exit 15, to Route 18 South. Follow this until the Downtown exit which is a right at the first set of lights onto Elm St.; take the sixth left onto Sixth St. Go one block to William St. which is a one way. Take a left onto William St. The library entrance is half way down the block directly across from City Hall.
I apologize for the confusion and any inconvenience created by Memo # 18 relating to the New Bedford site. • In addition to the previously announced Public Hearings and Comment Period (see PERAC Memo #18/2002), PERAC will hold an informal public discussion concerning the Proposed Regulation Amendments on Monday, May 6, 2002 at 10:00 AM in the PERAC Training Room, 5 Middlesex Ave., 3rd Fl., Somerville, MA. At this informal public discussion, the Commission will accept further public comments, both oral and written, on the Proposed Regulation Amendments.
