PERAC MEMO #19/2000 M E M O R A N D U M TO: All Retirement Boards FROM: Joseph E. Connarton, Executive Director RE: Legislative Updates DATE: March 30, 2000 Please be advised that PERAC’s Web Site now features a “Legislative Update” Section. This Section contains information relating to newly enacted legislation (signed into law) and significant pending legislation that has been approved by either the Massachusetts House of Representatives or the Senate. You will also have access to the text of newly signed laws and be able to research pending legislation through a link in our “Legislative Update” Section that connects you to the Home Page of the General Court. The Commission continually monitors bills (usually several hundred in number) that effect the financing and administration of the Massachusetts Contributory Retirement Systems.
