Martin RE: Investment Regulation Presentations DATE: August 28, 1998 The Public Employee Retirement Administration Commission will be holding a series of presentations to inform retirement board members and executive secretaries about PERAC Investment Regulations (840 CMR 1.00) and to introduce several revised forms. Four sessions will be held at PERAC’s Somerville offices for boards in the greater Boston area and for boards north of Boston. On September 17 th , we have scheduled two sessions: the first session will run from 10:00 AM to noon and the second from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. These sessions will be repeated on September 18 th at the same times. We are currently making arrangements for sessions to be held in Plymouth and Springfield. We will advise you of the times, dates and specific locations for these sessions as soon as arrangements have been finalized. M E M O R A N D U M - Page Two TO: All Retirement Boards FROM: Joseph I. Martin RE: Investment Regulation Presentations DATE: In order to ensure that we have sufficient seating capacity for each session, each Board will be invited to attend a specific session. If the scheduled session proves to be inconvenient for you, we will attempt to accommodate requests to attend a different session. Please note that PERAC and the Massachusetts Public Pension Forum will be holding a separate session on September 23 rd at One Ashburton Place in Boston to review the regulations and introduce the forms to investment managers, advisors and consultants. These individuals should plan on attending this session rather than the presentations being held on September 17 th & 18 th .
