PERAC MEMO #52/1997 M E M O R A N D U M TO: All Retirement Bo ards FROM: Robert F. Stalnaker, Executive Director RE: Early Intervention Program DATE: December 31, 1997 Following up on my previous communication to you, please be advised that legislation delaying the implementation of early intervention programs by retirement boards, has now been signed into law. As you know this legislation will now delay the implementation date to initiate such a program until July 1, 1998. Additionally, the legislation was signed with an EMERGENCY PREAMBLE attached, making the law effective immediately. Thank you for your cooperation and support on this issue. / msoffice EIPC240
